Since a child, I have been fascinated by the look of our quintessentially English countryside; Fields sectioned off in a seemingly random way. With no sense or logic to me as the viewer, other than to create a juxtaposition of colours and textures to delight my eye. A joyous patchwork of vibrant colour. A sense of fun, mixed with a feeling of calm.
